Dr. David Mayberry is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Dr. Mayberry has earned the status of Fellow awarded by the Academy of General Dentistry and has post graduate continuing education training from the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education where he serves as a mentor. Dr. Mayberry has also pursued additional advanced training in the areas of cosmetic and esthetic dentistry and in the area of complex restorative dentistry including the restoration of dental implants. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the North Carolina Dental Society, The Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and a Past-President of the Second District Dental Society and the Rowan County Dental Society. Dr. Mayberry is a member of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and offers oral conscious sedation as a treatment alternative. He enjoys running, golf and watching the Tar Heels beat NC State (or Duke). He and Jewell have been married for over 32 years and have two children: Sarah and Matt. Jewell is Chairman of the of the English Department at Pfeiffer University. Sarah lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas with her professional pole vaulting husband Jeremy Scott, and their son Cameron, where she is an instructor in oral communications at Arkansas State University. Matthew is a graduate of Applalachian State University and working in California for Genesis Renewable Energy. Matt is married to Karen Richards of La Jolla, CA. The Mayberry's are members of First Presbyterian Church of Salisbury.

Our purpose is to build lasting relationships with our patients, and to enrich the quality of their lives through those relationships. We expect to achieve this purpose by listening to our patients' concerns and by helping each patient understand their current dental condition. We then work with each patient to help them set goals and choose treatment that will allow them to attain the highest level of oral health possible, consistent with their individual needs, wants and values.

Dental treatment is an excellent investment in an individual's medical and psychological well-being. Being sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs in fulfilling financial obligations, we provide the following payment options: cash or check, most major credit cards, and we participate in CareCredit healthcare financing. Additional information concerning these options may be obtained by calling our office or going to the links for the health care financing agencies supplied above. Dental Insurance: We will assist you in obtaining your maximum benefit from your dental insurance by submitting insurance forms, and when appropriate, x-rays, narratives, photographs, etc. to your insurance company on your behalf.
Your First Visit To Our Office
It is our belief that you have the right to be fully informed about your current dental condition. This goal can only be accomplished by completing a comprehensive examination and evaluation of your teeth and supporting structures. This comprehensive examination usually takes about one and a half hours. During this visit we will discuss your concerns and your personal dental health goals.
At your second appointment we will discuss treatment options and develop a customized plan that allows you to create your personal picture of oral health.
